We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Director to join their team and drive social media excellence for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement cutting-edge social media strategies aligned with clients’ communication objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to provide forward-thinking solutions.
Client Collaboration:
- Work closely with clients to understand their brand, objectives, and target audience.
- Translate client goals into effective social media campaigns and initiatives.
Content Leadership:
- Lead a team of content creators, ensuring the development of compelling and culturally relevant content.
- Oversee content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent delivery across platforms.
Platform Expertise:
- Manage and optimize client social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Provide strategic recommendations on platform selection based on client goals.
Campaign Execution:
- Develop and execute innovative social media campaigns to support broader communication and marketing efforts.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to track and report on the performance of social media campaigns.
- Present regular insights to clients, demonstrating the impact of social media efforts.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of social media specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including account managers, creative teams, and PR specialists.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers, partners, and industry leaders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 6 years of proven experience in social media management within an agency setting.
- Deep understanding of the Dubai market and cultural nuances.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic agency environment.
