Country Manager

A leading regional tech business is looking for a Country Manager to lead their fast – growing Riyadh office. You will be the entrepreneur heading the development of the organisation in Riyadh.

We’re looking for someone with a strategic mindset. We’re keen to speak to people who have worked in a global consultancy and now want to take the step into the start-up world, building something from scratch.

Role Responsibilities:

• Sustaining the operations by identifying new business and generating new opportunities.

• Ensuring that the company is operating under the correct law and regulations.

• Coaching, and ensuring development of the team members.

• Ensuring that multiple initiatives and strategies are implemented to achieve the most efficient operation in a cost-effective manners.

• Establishing systems and procedures for controls and evaluation.

• Ensuring that all sales growth are on target, and excellent account management.

• Monitoring and ensuring cost effective use of budget funds for overhead, incentive payout, marketing strategies.

• Working very closely with C-Level management to set strategies

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Management experience in an operational role
• Start up experience or ex-consultancy would be highly preferred

• Prior working experience in Saudi Arabia is a must
• Entrepreneur mindset with hands-on and a can-do attitude.
• Excellent knowledge of the KSA market, and deep understanding of tech start-up landscape
• Strong ability to set clear measurable objectives, delegate responsibilities, assess, recognise and reward performance.
• Strong leadership with excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills.
• Proven sales, operational and technical track record.
