My client a global events business is looking for a Sponsorship Sales Manager to join a world-class team delivering one of the largest global exhibitions. Based in Abu Dhabi, this is a unique opportunity to work on a flagship event that brings together senior decision-makers, top-tier sponsors, and international stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive high-value sponsorship sales by converting inbound leads and identifying new opportunities
  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients valued between $4-5M, ensuring seamless delivery and upselling where appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and content teams to deliver excellence across every touchpoint
  • Educate and guide clients on sponsorship positioning, helping them navigate placement and activation options
  • Support the commercial growth of the platform by exploring untapped segments and partnership models

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in sponsorship or exhibition sales, ideally in events, media, or publishing
  • Strong value-based sales approach and excellent lead conversion track record
  • Confident handling complex accounts and managing high-value client relationships
  • Comfortable with 80% account management / 20% new business development
  • Team-oriented with experience working cross-functionally across multiple departments
  • Culturally aligned: down-to-earth, proactive, reliable, and respectful-with a good sense of humour and a “roll up your sleeves” mentality

***You must be based in or willing to relocate/commute to Abu Dhabi ***
