Security Operations Specialist

Description:
The Security Operations Specialist will oversee day-to-day monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents within the organization’s IT and OT environments. This includes managing SIEM/SOAR platforms, performing threat hunting, handling incident escalations, and ensuring rapid containment and remediation. The specialist will also contribute to tuning detection rules, enhancing automation, and supporting vulnerability management activities.

Key Skills & Certifications:

• Hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, etc.)
• Threat hunting, malware analysis, and incident response expertise
• Strong understanding of network and endpoint security tools (EDR, IDS/IPS, AV)
• Ability to perform vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking
• Certifications: CEH, GCIA, GCIH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP (preferred)
