Cloud Architect

Our client are a leading Tech company who specialize in providing innovative cloud solutions and services to businesses in Saudi Arabia. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing innovative cloud solutions utilizing Google Cloud Platform. Your focus will be on supporting their clients, guiding them towards business transformation through robust cloud architecture strategies & ensuring the design and optimization of critical applications.

Responsibilities:

• Cloud architecture and implementation, covering OS, multi-cloud, virtualization, orchestration, and scalability.
• Demonstrate proficiency in DevOps.
• Lead the development of strategic cloud architecture vision, encompassing internal and external platforms, tools, and systems.
• Design and assess solutions architecture for private, public, and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other services.
• Create detailed solution documentation – both high level and low level.
• Offer technical guidance and problem-solving expertise, ensuring timely issue resolution and effective workaround solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery of solutions while managing scope and risk in collaboration with project sponsors.
• Provide industry and team leadership, offering insights to solve complex business requirements across technical and business dimensions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud architecture roles.
• Hands-on experience with: GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Familiarity with VMware enterprise implementations.
• Strong grasp of network architecture and application development methodologies.
• Google Cloud Architect certification or equivalent credentials are preferred.
