Senior Network & Automation Engineer

Our client, a global leader, is looking for a Senior Network & Automation Engineer to join their team on a 12 month extendable contract.

The package includes visa, medical, annual flight allowance along with 22 days paid holiday plus public holidays. The role will be based onsite in Dubai.

Responsibilities

To handle the full build and implementation of hybrid cloud networking services using automation & IaC.

· Working experience implementing LAN, WAN, DNS, Zero Trust Network Engineering within Hybrid Cloud and connectivity remotely

· Experience leading the design and maintenance of network

· Liaise with DevOps team to define infrastructure and policies to automate the the full lifecycle of design patterns

· Work with Security teams to ensure proper practice and high level of security throughout the hybrid cloud

· Bachelors degree in computer science or similar

· 5+ years experience in network engineering across both public & private cloud environments

· Experience in a senior technical role covering large scale cloud environments

· 3+ years designing networking solutions (firewalls, segmentation and Zero Trust implementations)

· High scale engineering experience with major cloud providers

· CCIE or Equivalent expert level certification

· Security domain certification like CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC

· Working experience with routing protocols (BGP & OSPF), load balancers & SDWAN and SDN
