Business Development Director

Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Hunter to lead business development efforts within the UAE public sector, with a particular focus on Abu Dhabi. This role is instrumental in identifying and securing high-value opportunities related to IT and digital transformation across government and semi-government entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure, targeting new public sector accounts.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with senior stakeholders across ministries, authorities, and government-affiliated organizations.
• Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy aligned with national agendas and ongoing digital transformation efforts.
• Collaborate closely with internal technical and solution teams to design and present tailored proposals.
• Stay informed on market developments, competitor moves, and public sector procurement trends to uncover new opportunities.
• Represent the organization at key industry events, exhibitions, and government-led forums in Abu Dhabi and the broader UAE.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in enterprise IT sales, including a minimum of 5 years within the UAE public sector landscape.
• Demonstrated success in closing complex, high-value deals with government clients.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE public sector procurement frameworks and digital transformation programs.
• Strong existing relationships at the CXO and senior leadership levels within Abu Dhabi-based public entities.
• Prior engagement with ADNOC or its subsidiaries is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
• Willingness to travel across the UAE as necessary.
