Data Privacy Officer

My client are a leading fintech in KSA.

The Data Privacy Officer – DPO will provide direction and oversight over the organisations practices ensuring that the handling, management and processing of data adheres to policies, standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop the strategy, goals, and objectives for data privacy
• Develops all required data privacy artifacts including a data privacy strategy, frameworks, related policies, standards, , processes and other relevant data protection legal instruments, and expertise in Information Security and IT Security
• Develops required interaction modules along with a clear roles and responsibilities policy to ensure interacting parties are aware and execute their responsibilities as per the NDMO & PDPL regulations
• Reports Data Privacy issues to the CISO/CPO and the Information Security Management Committee (ISMC)

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Manager role experience in IT, Data Management, Data Privacy & Data protection tools
• Demonstrable experience of Data Privacy regulations and requirements
• CDPSE (ISACA Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer). CIPP (IAPP Information Privacy Professional) CISA / CISM / CRISC Other relevant Data & Privacy certification or qualifications preferred.

Digital banking experience is a essential and exposure to international banking and best compliance practices is a plus.
