IoT Lead / Consultant

Salt are partnering with a global digital consultancy to support some high profile projects with a end customer based in Saudi Arabia. Saudi continue to invest heavily in emerging technologies, and we are looking for a IoT expert who can lead onsite projects to help delivery complex solutions and IoT and OT systems/platforms.

Responsibilities & Essential Experience:

• Extensive experience in IoT systems, OT systems and IIoT for IT
• Technical background, with at least 10 years in technology solutions and now specialising in IoT and OT
• Experience in mobility, Industrial IoT, Device Identity, Interoperability, Contextual Information Management
• This is a lead role, requiring experience and ability to lead cross functional teams
• Build and deliver proof of concepts (POC), reusable accelerators (frameworks, libraries, SDKs etc.) that makes vertical application development faster.
• Develop end-to-end edge solution architecture for solutions spanning devices, gateways, connectivity and security layers
• Advise the leadership team on key technical considerations related to scaling IoT solutions and business applications
• Strong experience and understanding of technologies used for automation, IoT and Edge (LoRa, NB-IoT, Bluetooth and BLE, CoAP, OPC U/A, etc.)
• Prior work with OneM2M
• Experience with MQTT, REST, AMQP, Modbus, OAM-DM, Zigbee

Role Details:

• Visa or business visa will be provided for entry into Saudi Arabia.
• Flights and accommodation will be included for onsite periods
• End client is based in Saudi and regular travel and stay onsite is required. Working remotely will be required as well but at a lesser split
• Salary is negotiable depending on experience
• Start date ASAP.
