IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a 6-month onsite contract engagement in Abu Dhabi. This role will suit a dynamic professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and can confidently lead cross-functional teams while driving complex projects from initiation through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management:

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment, trust, and transparency at every stage.

• Project Planning & Execution:

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, defining scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely and quality execution.

• Team Leadership & Coordination:

Lead, coordinate, and motivate cross-functional project teams. Ensure clear task allocation, resource planning, and collaboration.

• Requirements & Scope Management:

Collaborate with business units to gather, analyse, and prioritize requirements. Manage scope changes through a structured change control process.

• Risk & Issue Management:

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, ensuring minimal impact on project delivery.

• Governance & Reporting:

Establish project governance structures and report project status, KPIs, and milestones to leadership and stakeholders regularly.

• Change Management & Communication:

Drive change management strategies, ensuring impacted teams are engaged and well-informed throughout the project lifecycle.

• Tooling & Collaboration:

Utilize project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, Confluence, etc) to track progress, share updates, and collaborate effectively.

• Professionalism & Ownership:

Demonstrate a high level of ownership, accountability, and professionalism in all aspects of project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5-8 years of project management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Proven success delivering end-to-end projects within scope, time, and budget
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• Experience in enterprise environments or digital transformation initiatives is a plus
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are preferred
