I am working with a huge technology consultancy who are looking to add an Onboarding and Integration Manager to their team on an initial 6-month contract.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the efficient integration of newly acquired companies into an affiliated Holding organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management, corporate strategy, and preferably, mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Led the onboarding process for newly acquired companies, ensuring a seamless and timely integration.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and report on the progress of integration projects, addressing any emerging issues.
Documentation and Process Alignment:
- Ensure that crucial documentation (Financial, Strategic, Governance, HR, IT, Legal, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Operations) is gathered, reviewed, and updated as required.
- Align the processes and procedures of acquired companies with those of the acquiring company.
- Collaborate closely with department heads to integrate systems and operations seamlessly.
Strategy and M&A Skills:
- Leverage M&A experience to identify potential integration challenges and opportunities.
- Work with the strategy team to ensure that integration aligns with overall business objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance on integrating the acquired company’s culture, values, and vision.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the acquired company and various departments within the parent organization.
- Facilitate communication and cultivate relationships between teams from the acquiring and acquired companies.
- Organize and lead regular integration meetings and workshops.
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the integration process.
- Implement best practices in integration processes.
- Continuously enhance integration methodologies based on lessons learned and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, with a focus on corporate integration or related fields.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with financial, legal, and operational aspects of business integrations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
6-month initial contract – with extensions
