My client is a cutting-edge technology company dedicated to providing exceptional solutions to their clients. They are currently seeking an Automation Tester to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of their software applications. As an Automation Tester, you will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of their testing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to understand project requirements and system architecture.
• Design and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify software defects and inconsistencies.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, ensuring reusability and efficiency.
• Participate in the design and execution of performance and load testing.
• Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Document and report issues with precision, including detailed steps to reproduce problems.
• Work closely with developers to replicate, troubleshoot, and verify reported issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in test automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Automation Tester or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices is a plus.
