Node-RED specialist

A top Malaysian firm operating in the Agro Technology sector specializes in gathering data for tropical plantations. They offer a validated solution for tropical plantations, including oil palm estates, facilitating the collection of accurate location-based in-field operations data through IoT technologies.

Utilizing their Estate Area Remote Sensing (EARS) platform, the company empowers plantation managers to enhance operational transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

· Extensive experience as a Node-RED Specialist with a strong portfolio of successful IoT projects.

· Proficiency in JavaScript, with the ability to write custom functions and scripts in Node-RED.

· In-depth knowledge of IoT protocols, device communication, and data exchange (MQTT, REST, HTTP, etc.).

· Familiarity with a wide range of IoT hardware and sensors.

· Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients.

· Ability to optimize Node-RED flows and applications for improved performance and efficiency.

· Familiarity with data storage and database systems is a plus.
