A leading company is currently recruiting for a Backspace iOS Developer that has experience with backspace software development, iOS apps using swift and objective-C. 6 month rolling contract paying up to £400 per day.
Experience and skills required for the Backspace iOS Developer, iOS, Swift, Objective-C, Backspace
- Writing iOS apps using Swift and Objective-C
- Interacting with iOS frameworks and implementing common design patterns, e.g. UIKit, data persistence, networking, concurrency, delegation, etc.
- Applying common architectural approaches, e.g. MVC, MVP, MVVM, etc.
- Referencing Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and collaborating with designers to build a native product experience
- Using a version control system such as Git.
- Writing automated tests.
- Working in an Agile environment collaborating with both engineers and non-engineers.
- Applying common engineering principles e.g. SOLID, DRY.
- Using continuous integration.
- Reviewing other people’s code and knowing when to suggest improvements.
- Experience with REST services
- Experience in unit and UI test development
- Backbase experience, knowledge or certification is big plus
