HVAC Commissioning Engineer

This role involves taking an active role in the business to support the current growth. You will be hands on supporting clients to ensure the quality of their current HVAC systems are optimised for air quality and efficiency. Largely working in a commercial environment within Christchurch and further afield you will work as a senior team member leading projects and utilising your experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan, execute, and document HVAC commissioning activities.
• Conduct air quality and cleanroom testing.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure systems meet performance standards.
• Analyse system performance and recommend improvements.
• Mentor and coach junior team members
• Provide on-site leadership and client engagement

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years (negotiable) of HVAC commissioning experience.
• CSA or NEBB certification, or Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Excellent knowledge around Excel including formulas, pivot tables etc
• Proficient in commissioning tools, software, and BMS systems.
• A positive attitude and alignment with their down to earth culture
