Senior Procurement Specialist

You will be part of an incredible team who is working on a one-of-a-kind project (yes, first in NZ!) where you’ll be performing a range of procurement management functions. You could be based in Wellington, Auckland or any where in North Island!

What you will be doing:

Applying the procurement ICT strategy, including the development, and drafting of all associated documents.

A ‘how can we help, this is what we do’ attitude in the procurement space whilst ensuring processes are executed and adhered to.

Managing a variety of stakeholders (clients, legal, supplier and other interested parties) to support with facilitating procurement exemptions, marketing exercises, particular processes for the customer and working through plans with these teams.

Managing contract performance and compliance of nominated suppliers.

Negotiate and finalise commercial documentation in line with policies and procedures.

Who am I?

Proven procurement experience (ideally within government industry to understand protocol).

Senior relationship management skills, with the ability to develop business relationships.

Demonstrate analytical skills.
