Senior Accounting Analyst

Salt is looking to hire a Senior Accountant for a renowned technology client in Singapore. This is a 7-month extendable contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post ad hoc journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Conduct fluctuation (flux) analysis to identify variances and provide explanations.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Follow up on aged or open items within policy guidelines to ensure resolution.
• Generate and present month-end management reports for key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support US GAAP, statutory, and tax audits.
• Provide support on special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Participate in system enhancements or automation efforts related to GL functions.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant with 3 – 5 years in GL accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines
