Strategy and Operations Manager

Salt Talent Search is looking for a Strategy and Business Ops manager for a 12 months extendable contract role, this is for a well know Travel/Hospitality client.

What Will You Do:

• Support Country Manager on key strategic projects – lead ad-hoc strategic projects for Southeast Asia. May require coordination within local country regional and teams in San Francisco.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, and develop and communicate final recommendations for key projects.
• At all times driving to the desired end state and ensuring the voice of the community is reflected in everything that we do.
• Work with and establish project teams and ensure that all agreed strategic projects are progressing and delivering desired results on time and in budget, to include: process improvements
• Proactively identify solutions to meet business objectives, taking into account the implications of change on the organization and all stakeholders.
• Perform daily functions of the program management office (PMO), such as program scheduling and planning, monitoring and status reporting against planned deliverables, benefits and milestones, resource and program tracking, development and management of risk, issue and action logs.

What Do You Need:

• 10+ years of work experience, preferably with combined exposure to consulting and/or project management in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong analytical and business backgrounds as well as an understanding of strategic partnerships and/or marketing and operations.
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments in consumer tech
• Ability to multitask by organizing and prioritizing work and coordinating required support across various functions to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Strong written and verbal communicator with excellent presentation skills.
• Proficiency in SQL is preferred
