Marketing Manager Events

Salt Talent Search is looking for a Marketing Manager, Events Marketing for 1 year contract role. This is a regional role within APJ marketing team interfacing with other regional marketing leaders and corporate marketing team. The ideal candidate will gain a deep understanding of our customer personas and will help execute flagship events across APJ.

What Will You Do:

• Work with key markets across APJ region to understand their event needs, localize (wherever applicable) and present & deliver event in a box strategy.
• Program Management – Be custodian of overall events program plan, own tasks and execution as required via designated roles & responsibility framework
• Registration Management & Analytics – own and maintain registrations dashboard across APJ region. Share weekly, monthly and quarterly updates on pre and post event analytics.
• Agency Management – clearly articulate goals, objectives and share briefings with events agency. Maintain relationship and work in tandem as extension of the team.
• Maintain high value events calendar across APJ region and evaluate proposals from vendors to see affinity with offerings and potential participations.
• Champion digital events, webinars and become single point of contact for regions around digital platforms and help with execution.
• Work across APJ functions – project management, digital marketing, operations & automation and field marketing teams to lend help and drive desired outcomes.
• Work with corporate marketing teams and help localize global events content either from flagship events or strategic priorities

Requirements:

• 3-5 years B2B Marketing experience within the enterprise market, enterprise software and SaaS
• Multi-disciplinary marketing background is a must. Understanding of personas within specific industries and buyer’s journey.
• Experience working in a pan-APJ role is highly desirable
• Proven ability and skills to run integrated digital and offline events
• Experience in marketing enterprise applications is strongly preferred
• Good track record in building, driving and executing strategy across APJ
• Able to build strong peer relationships and ability to influence key stakeholders across APJ
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
• Must be an enthusiastic, well-organized self-starter, able to use initiative and adapt to change
• Experience working within a SaaS company is highly desirable
