Visual Designer

Overview

A leading tech company is seeking a versatile Visual Designer to join the Content Design team behind one of the world’s most widely used app platforms. This team creates compelling visuals that support editorial features, app collections, and stories that reach millions of users.

As a key member of the Product & Design organization, you’ll produce high-quality creative across digital formats, collaborating closely with editorial, product, and production teams to deliver engaging visual content.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage visuals that appear across the app platform’s editorial experiences
• Translate content goals into clear, effective visual solutions
• Balance multiple deliverables on tight timelines while maintaining attention to detail
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment
• Ensure creative accuracy and alignment with technical specs when handing off work to production teams or third-party partners

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of visual design experience in digital media, content design, or editorial environments
• Strong portfolio showcasing design across digital, social, or static formats
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with motion design tools is a plus
• Deep awareness of trends in apps, games, and digital visual culture
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional, deadline-driven setting
