Position: Enterprise Software Sales – Banking & Financial Services
Location: Remote (Preferred: New York, New Jersey)
Reports to: VP of Sales
Travel Requirement: Up to 75%
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a high-performing, driven enterprise software sales professional to join their Banking & Financial Services sales team in the U.S. This individual will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation to deal closure, focused on acquiring new logos across key banking and credit union accounts.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of selling enterprise technology solutions to large financial institutions and has a strong understanding of the digital transformation needs within this sector. Experience working with system integrators and consulting partners is also highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, including alliance and partner strategies, to build trusted relationships across key decision makers
- Manage the full sales cycle-qualifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals with new banking and financial services clients
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to shape compelling proposals tailored to customer needs
- Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets by securing new business across assigned accounts or territories
- Maintain a consistent cadence of face-to-face customer interactions and cultivate long-term strategic partnerships
- Oversee contract execution, billing coordination, and timely payment collection in partnership with internal operations teams
- Actively contribute to lead generation efforts in alignment with marketing and business development functions
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 15-18 years of experience selling enterprise software, with a strong track record of new business acquisition
- Deep expertise in the banking and financial services domain, with knowledge of digital solutions such as:
- Loan Origination Systems
- Account Opening Platforms
- BPM, ECM, Case Management
- Low-code / Hyper-automation technologies
- Experience selling into large U.S. banks, credit unions, and financial institutions
- Proven ability to build C-level relationships and consultative engagements
- Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, multicultural, and geographically dispersed team environment
- Self-sufficient in driving pipeline growth, while also supporting broader demand generation strategies
