Salt is partnering with a global content protection company looking to bring on a Sales Director to carry out new business.
In this role you will create and initiate a strategic regional New Business sales plan that identifies new target customers to achieve optimum revenue growth. If you have a strong track record in Sales and New Business Development within the Media and Entertainment market- this role is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Growing regional New Business, expanding New Accounts revenue performance and meeting regional targets through development and implementation of sales strategies
- Create and maintain regional new customer prospects
- Maintain relationships with key customers and prospects in region
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs and identify new business opportunities
- Identify new and potential customers in region
- Manage and maintain the regional New Business into New Accounts sales pipeline, using company CRM, with accurate forecasting of sales opportunities on a weekly basis to the SVP Sales
- Report regional sales metrics, customer opportunities, market information and customer visit information to SVP Sales as requested
- Conduct the hand-over process to the account management team in region, when new account sales wins are achieved
- Work closely with the pre-sales team, to carry out effective customer presentations and meetings all prospective customers
- Ensure all sales activities are compliant with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry (North America & LATAM)
- Skilled and experienced in selling technically complex solutions
- Excellent new business development skills
- Willingness to travel on a sustained basis
- Knowledge of Content Security market/products preferred
- Fluent in Spanish/Portuguese preferred
