Our client is a pioneering Earth Information-as-a-Service™ (IaaS) company at the forefront of space-based data and AI innovation. Their proprietary monitoring platform powers smarter decision-making by delivering real-time Earth surface insights to leading commercial and institutional partners worldwide.

Currently operating in stealth mode, the company is building what will be the largest constellation of Earth observation satellites, with the aim of transforming how organizations understand change on our planet – and how they respond to it.

Role Overview:

This is a high-impact, commercially strategic role within the company’s global revenue organization. As Global Strategic Partner Director, you will lead and evolve one of the company’s most critical partner ecosystems. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the relationship with a key geospatial software and analytics platform provider.

This role will involve defining the global go-to-market (GTM) strategy, aligning internal and external stakeholders, managing C-level relationships, and driving growth across commercial regions. You’ll have the opportunity to build and lead a dedicated partner team, while working closely with product, marketing, and sales to maximize partner impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Strategy

  • Develop and execute a long-term strategic plan to maximize value from the geospatial software partner ecosystem.
  • Define the GTM and commercial model to accelerate growth through this channel.
  • Align account plans with internal product and regional sales priorities.

Team Leadership

  • Build and manage a partner-focused team aligned to strategic commercial goals.
  • Establish and track OKRs, fostering accountability, creativity, and ownership.
  • Ensure tight coordination with global and regional commercial leads.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build trusted, executive-level relationships with partner leadership.
  • Proactively identify blockers and co-develop solutions to accelerate collaboration.
  • Lead joint initiatives in marketing, product integration, and sales enablement.

Experience & Background

  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships, sales, or BD within tech, SaaS, or cloud sectors.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise partner ecosystems and channel models.
  • History of working with or selling into organizations using geospatial data or enterprise location intelligence platforms.
  • Demonstrated success working with or influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • International business experience preferred.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive presence.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-growth, mission-oriented startup or scale-up environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree a plus.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a bonus.
