Security Engineer

Salt is seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join a leading financial organization who is rapidly growing, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, configuring, and integrating security controls and designs to protect our clients assets & data. Please note this is a hands on role that requires scripting experience alongside Azure cloud experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and configure security controls and designs, including web and email proxies

Configure and integrate security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and encryption

Develop and maintain scripts to automate security tasks

Work with Azure cloud infrastructure

Collaborate with other teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the organization

Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies

Communicate security risks and recommendations to senior management

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on design and configuration

Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash

Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure

Strong understanding of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and encryption

Strong understanding of web and email proxy design and configuration

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Strong understanding of regulatory compliance
