Product Manager – Developer

Contract – 1 year

Hybrid – You must be based in Cupertino, Culver City or San Diego

Salt is bringing an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager Developer to join a fast-paced, innovative tech environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in full-stack development while also bringing a product mindset to influence not only how software works, but also how it looks and scales.

You’ll be working on internal cloud-based applications and services, collaborating across design, engineering, business, and production teams. We’re looking for a problem-solver and strong communicator, someone equally comfortable diving deep into technical challenges and stepping back to align with the bigger picture.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building, supporting, and evolving internal web applications and services.
• Writing clean, testable, and scalable code across front-end and back-end.
• Contributing to sprint planning, story writing, and estimation in an agile environment.
• Connecting with internal and third-party APIs (Wrike, Slack, Box, Quip, etc.).
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, performance, and usability.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Full-stack development expertise with React, PHP, CSS, JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of MVC frameworks (Laravel, Rails, etc.).
• Database experience with PostgreSQL (or equivalent RDBs like MySQL, SQL Server).
• Skilled in writing automated tests (PHPUnit, Cypress/Selenium).
• Strong Git experience and agile delivery background.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Machine Learning/AI (RAG systems).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Python, Laravel Livewire, AlpineJS.
