Senior Analyst – Strategic FP&A (SaaS & New Revenue Streams)

The Opportunity

A fast-growing digital media and technology company is looking for a Senior Analyst to support the expansion of its FP&A team. This high-impact role will focus on project-based analysis, strategic financial planning, and supporting the company’s growth into new revenue streams, including data licensing and SaaS-based AI products.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical finance skills with sharp strategic thinking. You’ll act as both a problem-solver and a thought partner across the business, surfacing insights, spotting trends, and contributing to smarter, faster decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ad hoc and strategic financial analysis to guide growth initiatives and operational decisions.
  • Uncover trends, risks, and opportunities by analyzing financial and operational data.
  • Build and enhance models and dashboards for forecasting, scenario planning, and KPI tracking.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to bring together quantitative data and qualitative insights.
  • Utilize AI-enabled tools for analytics, forecasting, and reporting automation.
  • Contribute to core FP&A tasks such as month-end close, forecasting, and board reporting.
  • Standardize processes and develop scalable reporting frameworks.
  • Ensure high levels of data accuracy and integrity, especially in rapidly evolving areas of the business.

What You Bring

  • 4-6+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or consulting/investment analysis roles.
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and business case development.
  • Hands-on experience in SaaS or recurring revenue environments, with a deep understanding of metrics like ARR, CAC, LTV, and churn.
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI, and data tools like Snowflake or HubSpot. SQL is a plus.
  • Experience using AI or automation tools in finance environments.
  • Ability to connect numbers to strategy and communicate clear, actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and a high-growth environment.
