SAP EWM Solution Architect

We’re seeking an experienced SAP EWM Solutions Architect to join a leading consulting engagement. This role is ideal for a senior-level SAP professional who can combine deep functional expertise with strong solution design skills to deliver high-impact supply chain transformation projects.

What You’ll Do

• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for SAP EWM, offering strategic guidance on best practices, system capabilities, and industry trends.
• Solution Design & Blueprinting: Lead the design of end-to-end supply chain processes in SAP, aligning business requirements with SAP standard functionalities across modules including: SAP S4HANA ERP: MM, SD, PP, WM, EWM, TM & SAP Ariba: Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Invoicing, Guided Buying, Supplier Management
• Integration Leadership: Drive integration strategy and troubleshoot across SAP Ariba, S4HANA/ECC, and other supply chain modules.
• Requirements Analysis: Partner with stakeholders to gather and translate complex supply chain requirements into functional specifications.
• Configuration & Validation: Oversee configuration activities in SAP Supply Chain and Ariba solutions, ensuring designs are realized and validated.
• Problem-Solving & Optimization: Resolve system/process challenges and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancements.
• Project Lifecycle: Contribute across all phases of delivery-discovery, design, build, testing (SIT, UAT), training, and hyper care support.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Master Data, ABAP, Integration, OCM, and Testing teams to ensure integrated solutions.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create and maintain design documents, test scripts, and training materials. Provide knowledge transfer to teams and end-users.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, supporting decision-making and alignment.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP Supply Chain functional consulting or SME experience.
• Proven expertise across MM, SD, and PP modules.
• Significant experience with SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Guided Buying, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance).
• Strong background with SAP S4HANA (preferred) or ECC.
• Experience delivering 2-3+ full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
• Solid understanding of integration between SAP Ariba and SAP S4HANA/ECC.

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Expert-level configuration in MM, SD, PP.
• Strong understanding of procurement, order-to-cash, and production processes.
• Hands-on Ariba configuration, template design, and integration knowledge.
• Ability to read/debug ABAP code (a plus).
• Skilled in creating functional specs for WRICEF objects.
