Algorithmic Trading Software Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Designing, coding and testing components and sub-systems in support of client’s portfolio construction and optimization, trading execution, and analytics processes
• Working closely with the business to understand key problems and pain points and devise solutions to meet them
• Writing high quality code and conducting code reviews aimed at helping the team solve challenging problems in elegant ways
• Participating in the definition and evolution of the team’s core set of best practices and SDLC
• Researching and prototyping new tools, techniques and practices for use in our environment to increase innovation and the business value delivered

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in Algorithmic Trading/Trade execution areas
• Strong computer science fundamentals with experience focused on backend platform-level development
• 3-5 years professional software development experience in technically rigorous environments holding extremely high bars for their engineers. Tech stack: .net, Java or C++
• Experience with complex backend systems and a fluency with contemporary software development patterns and architectures
• Experience with C# is a plus, but not required
• Willing to learn C#; .NET
