We’re partnered with a leading technology consultancy that supports high-impact R&D programs across the defense and intelligence landscape. Their teams work on advanced capabilities that help secure and empower mission-critical operations within the U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

They’re currently hiring a Front-End Software Developer to join a high-visibility OPIR (Overhead Persistent Infrared) program, contributing to projects at the intersection of software engineering, remote sensing, and national security. What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement modern front-end interfaces to support OPIR image processing and real-time data visualization.
• Collaborate across software development teams to build secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications.
• Support a full software development lifecycle within a tightly integrated DevSecOps environment.
• Work with large-scale data from remote sensing systems and translate complex backend functions into intuitive front-end interfaces.
• Deliver innovative solutions for defense clients in a mission-driven, agile team setting.

Must-Have Experience:

• 7+ years of front-end or full-stack development experience, including UI/UX implementation and systems integration.
• Proficiency in Python and web development stacks.
• Experience leading the design and development of cloud-based tools and applications.
• Exposure to image processing, remote sensing, data exploitation, or sensor fusion.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly (mandatory).

Bonus Skills:

• Experience building full-stack solutions with both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Familiarity with Git and software configuration management tools.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to analyze user needs, gather requirements, and optimize workflows through automation.

Experience Level Guidelines (Education Substitutions Allowed):

• Mid-level: BA/BS + 4 years
• Senior-level: BA/BS + 10 years
• Subject Matter Expert (SME): MA/MS + 18 years
