We’re working with a trusted government technology partner known for solving highly complex engineering challenges across the defense and intelligence space. Their team is currently supporting a high-impact OPIR (Overhead Persistent Infrared) program-one of the most critical R&D initiatives for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

They’re now hiring a Full Stack Software Developer to join this mission. In this role, you’ll bring your cloud, front-end, and back-end development expertise to a secure and collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with fellow engineers to create robust software tools that support real-time sensor data, missile system tracking, and advanced intelligence capabilities.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain secure full stack applications that support OPIR data processing, analysis, and visualization.
• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native tools across the entire software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with application and platform teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Contribute to algorithm development for image processing, data exploitation, and remote sensing.
• Solve challenging technical problems in a collaborative R&D environment that supports national security.

Must-Have Experience:

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience, including application design, coding, and implementation.
• Strong Python programming background.
• Experience developing cloud-based tools and working within modern DevSecOps environments.
• Exposure to remote sensing, sensor fusion, or missile system technologies.
• Familiarity with full software development life cycle in mission-critical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly (required).

Bonus Skills:

• Proficiency with both front-end and back-end technologies (true full stack experience).
• Experience with Git for software configuration management.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Ability to gather user requirements and implement optimized automation solutions.

Experience Level Guidelines (Education Substitutions Allowed):

• Mid-level: BA/BS + 4 years
• Senior-level: BA/BS + 10 years
• Subject Matter Expert (SME): MA/MS + 18 years
