Operations Manager- Group Finance

A leading company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager for its Group Finance division. This pivotal role will be responsible for managing critical financial operations, including fixed assets management, procurement, Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) compliance, system reconciliations, PD Debtors, and intercompany accounts. The ideal candidate is a seasoned financial leader with a proven track record in finance operations, systems management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee fixed assets management, ensuring accurate recording, audits, and reporting of company assets.
• Lead procurement activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives and cost-effective purchasing practices.
• Ensure BEE compliance, monitoring the company’s scorecard and contributing to improvement strategies.
• Manage system reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of key financial data.
• Supervise the PD Debtors process, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Qualification and Experience:

• Qualified CA(SA)
• Minimum 5 years commercial experience
• Must have management experience
• Must have BEE compliance exposure

Skills:

• Advance excel knowledge
