Our client is a dynamic and innovative company in the Marketing and Advertising industry, committed to excellence and creativity. As part of their expansion, they are seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join their Finance team.

Requirements

• Qualified CA(SA)
• 2-5 years post-article experience, preferably in the Marketing and Advertising industry or Shared Service environments.
• Curious, self-motivated, and driven to improve financial processes.
• Proficiency in ERP and Consolidation packages.
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Role Overview As a Senior Accountant, you will be an integral part of our client’s Finance Hub, responsible for managing and optimizing their financial operations. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong control over their financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve journals before posting in financial systems.
• Conduct balance sheet reviews and lead trial balance reports.
• Review financial controls and support month-end activities.
• Prepare standard and client profitability reports.
• Collaborate with Commercial Finance for revenue calculations and intercompany accounts.
• Assist in statutory accounts preparation and budget uploads.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Manage and guide the Accounting team to meet business SLA targets.
