Art Director

We’re looking for a highly conceptual and hands-on Creative Art Director to join a fast-paced creative agency in Cape Town.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, idea-driven environment and can confidently lead visual direction across multiple platforms. As the in-house Art Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing compelling campaign visuals, guiding the creative team, and ensuring high-quality, brand-aligned design output across client work.

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead the visual direction of campaigns across digital, ATL and BTL platforms

● Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, and designers to deliver compelling creative concepts

● Present and pitch creative work internally and to clients

● Oversee and mentor junior creatives, providing guidance and feedback

● Ensure brand consistency, design quality, and attention to detail across all deliverables

● Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies Requirements:

● 5+ years of experience in an art direction or senior design role within a creative/agency environment

● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

● Strong conceptual thinking and design execution skills

● Excellent visual storytelling and layout abilities

● Experience working across a variety of industries and campaign formats

● Confident communicator with client-facing experience
