We are seeking a passionate, experienced HR professional with a strong understanding of HR processes to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to drive and manage all aspects of the Head Office HR function from talent acquisition to employee relations, performance management, training, and leadership development.
Position: HR Manager (Head Office, Cape Town CBD)
As a key player in the HR team, you will partner with Senior Management and Line Managers to provide strategic HR solutions that foster growth, enhance culture, and drive performance. Your ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization will be essential to your success in this hands-on, HR generalist role.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive HR strategies that align with business goals, focusing on recruitment, performance management, and employee development.
Lead recruitment efforts to bring in top talent, ensuring candidates align with our company culture and values.
Manage and enhance the performance appraisal system, fostering a high-performance culture.
Provide expert HR guidance to both employees and managers on performance, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
Design and deliver training programs to develop employee skills and enhance overall performance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, employment contracts, and health and safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
At least 5- 7 years of HR experience, with 4 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong experience in HR within FMCG or retail industries (preferred).
A Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Human Resources Management.
In-depth knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices (LRA, BCEA, EEA, etc.).
A hands-on approach with strong people skills, a results-driven mindset, and excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage and improve HR processes, policies, and procedures in a growing business environment.
