🔹 Advise Clients on Employment Matters
Draft, review, and proofread employment contracts, offer letters, workplace policies, contractor and training agreements, NDAs, and more
Tailor employment documents to client-specific roles and organisational culture
Ensure workplace policies are current and aligned with the client’s mission and values
Chair disciplinary hearings and advise on fair and lawful outcomes
Support clients with skills development submissions and employment equity reporting
Communicate updates and ensure compliance as per internal guidance
🔹 Support the Founder and Legal Team
Manage assigned work efficiently with accurate progress tracking
Respond promptly to internal communications and maintain availability
Provide timely updates to clients and deliver work within agreed deadlines
🔹 Develop and Expand Capabilities
Actively pursue opportunities to enhance legal knowledge and administrative efficiency
Take initiative and seek assistance when needed
Contribute positively to team collaboration and internal learning
Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
1-2 years post-admission experience
Strong understanding of South African employment law (or relevant jurisdiction)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage time and deliver results under pressure
