Project Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to take full ownership of construction and fit-out projects across multiple sites. This role requires a strong leader with hands-on technical knowledge, the ability to manage teams and subcontractors, and the drive to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of construction and fit-out projects.

• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, with strict adherence to scope.

• Maintain strong on-site presence with regular site visits and active supervision.

• Manage workforce productivity through daily task allocation, attendance tracking, and issue resolution.

• Oversee material flow management, ensuring no delays due to shortages.

• Coordinate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors to avoid work stoppages.

• Enforce strict quality control standards, ensuring minimal snagging at handover.

• Identify, escalate, and resolve operational bottlenecks quickly and effectively.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ site-based project management experience in construction, fit-out, or related fields.

• Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, finishing trades, and building systems.

• Proven ability to manage multiple job sites simultaneously.

• Ability to read and implement architectural and technical drawings.

• Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and resources.

• Solid understanding of South African construction safety regulations.

• Skilled in subcontractor and supplier management.
