The client is a manufacturing company specialising in innovative and artistic home-ware and lifestyle products.
As the HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in overseeing people management, labour relations, and recruitment within the organisation. This position demands a profound grasp of HR best practices, legal compliance, and strong communication skills to bolster the overall HR function. Collaborating closely with the Head of HR, you will have to ensure the seamless execution of HR processes and actively contribute to the formulation and execution of HR strategies.
Assist in designing and maintaining effective organisational structures.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Support the implementation and improvement of HR policies and processes.
Manage the entire recruitment process seamlessly from sign-off to on boarding.
Align recruitment activities with the company’s employment equity plan.
Manage employment equity plan and reporting.
Address employee grievances along with providing support.
Provide guidance and representation in warning and disciplinary procedures.
Assist in performance management, measure KPI’s and oversee probation.
Promote employee wellness and implement wellness programs.
Assist with payroll, ad hoc projects and HR reporting.
5 years in Human Resources
BCom degree in HR
Solid understanding of HR functions, employee relations and labour relations
