Job Title: Legal Manager

Responsibilities
Have 3-4 years of relevant experience and a recognized SA university degree or diploma
Proficient in contract and commercial law, budgeting, and Microsoft Excel.
Provide high-level legal support to the group and its subsidiaries.
Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements.
Offer guidance on contractual matters to management.
Assess contractual risks and manage executed contracts.
Handle debtor negotiations and manage external legal counsel for litigation.
Oversee company contract tracker and risk register.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and corporate governance.
Provide company secretarial services to the Board.
Schedule and prepare for Board meetings, including agenda and minutes.
Administer statutory records and draft resolutions.
Manage staff reporting to this position, including performance assessments.
Plan and implement divisional strategies within budget and time-lines.
Monitor operational performance, revenue, and sales targets.
Control departmental expenditure.
Possess meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate effective leadership and communication.
Be creative, strategic, and innovative.
Work collaboratively and be accountable.
