Account Director

Position Objective:

Our client based in Johannesburg on the Agency/Communications industry is looking for an Account Director to join their team. If you have experience in the Pharma or Health care industries, we are looking for you.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Operational Performance and financial of different accounts simultaneously, ensuring quality work, Budget and meeting deadlines, and that plan creation and execution map to goals.
• Show excellence writing when crafting internal and client materials.
• Introduce clients to new capabilities, initiate new business process and display strong presentation skills during client pitches
• Play a key role in the creation of communications plans and goals.
• Able to deliver high-quality external and internal communications content
• Serve as daily client contact and act as client lead when appropriate.

Qualifications/Experience:

• At least 10+ years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Strong Experience effectively managing multiple sizable account (including financials) and serving as the daily client contact simultaneously.
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills along with the proven ability to consistently make sounds judgements and effectively motivate and manage teams.
