Digital Marketing Specialist

Salary: R 35 000,00 to R 40 000,00 CTC per month (depending on experience)

Location: Johannesburg (Hybrid – 3 x per week in-office)

They are looking for a Digital Marketing and Web Development Specialist to drive their digital marketing strategy, enhance brand awareness, and generate qualified leads. This role focuses on building, managing, and optimizing performance-based (PPC) digital marketing campaigns and ensuring the continuous improvement of the organization’s web presence. This full-time role is based in Rosebank, Gauteng.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and implement a digital marketing roadmap that aligns with the brand strategy and business goals.
• Manage and optimize the organization’s digital assets, including company websites and virtual tour platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and other digital issues on web platforms in a timely manner.
• Lead the development, implementation, and reporting of all PPC and SEO campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Continuously optimize campaigns for cost-efficiency and conversion through A/B testing and data analysis.
• Generate and optimize digital marketing campaigns to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual lead targets.
• Maintain and update all web assets to reflect current content, campaigns, and branding.
• Analyze and report on website and campaign performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Conduct regular competitor analysis and track emerging digital marketing trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or web development.
• Proven experience managing PPC campaigns, SEO strategies, and digital analytics tools.
• Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and YouTube Ads.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Ability to use data analytics tools like Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, and Power BI to track campaign performance and generate actionable insights.
