E-Commerce Content Executive

Salary: R 40 000.00 to R 50 000.00 CTC per month (depending on experience)

Location: Cape Town (remote, with occasional meeting in Cape Town office).

Overview:

A dynamic digital retail specialist in the beauty and wellness sector is seeking a Digital Content Manager. This role will be responsible for shaping the brand’s digital narrative and managing multi-channel content strategy. This position involves orchestrating compelling product storytelling, developing strategic partnerships, and driving customer engagement across a premium portfolio of international beauty and sun protection brands.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Content Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies across digital platforms.
  • Brand Storytelling: Create compelling narratives that enhance product positioning and customer education.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and deliver integrated digital campaigns across email and social channels.
  • Product Content: Oversee product information management ensuring accuracy and engagement across platforms.
  • Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with premium brands for collaborative campaigns.
  • Social Media Strategy: Direct organic social media presence to build community and drive engagement.
  • Email Marketing: Craft strategic email campaigns to enhance customer retention and engagement.
  • Visual Direction: Guide the curation and creation of engaging visual content across all channels.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform content strategy.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive execution.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital content management or ecommerce marketing
  • Proven track record in email marketing campaign management
  • Strong portfolio of social media management, particularly Instagram
  • Experience in product content management for ecommerce platforms
  • Demonstrated success in brand partnership coordination
  • Excellence in copywriting and content strategy
