Junior Marketing Manager

A through-the-line brand builder in the FMCG sector is in search of a Junior Marketing Manager to take charge of their marketing function. The company is a premier partner for FMCG products, offering dynamic client solutions, innovative marketing strategies, and excellent service delivery. The company has a history of successful partnerships and a strong presence in the FMCG arena, providing route-to-market and direct distribution solutions. The successful candidate will assist in the creation and implementation of brand strategies and marketing plans to establish a strong brand presence and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and digital marketing initiatives, ensuring brand consistency and message effectiveness.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, analyze consumer insights, and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities and make data-driven recommendations for brand positioning and targeting.
  • Brand Messaging and Communication: Help develop and refine brand messaging, tone of voice, and visual identity across various marketing channels, ensuring consistent brand representation.
  • Content Creation and Management: Contribute to the creation and management of marketing content, such as social media posts, website copy, blog articles, and other promotional materials, aligning with brand guidelines.
  • Brand Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key brand performance indicators, such as brand awareness, customer perception, and market share, and prepare regular reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborative Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, sales, and creative services, to align brand strategies with overall business objectives and ensure consistent brand representation across all touchpoints.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing marketing budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support brand initiatives and maximize return on investment.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support brand initiatives and leverage additional marketing opportunities.
  • Brand Activation : Manage the national brand activations teams. Ensure brands are presented to consumers in the correct way. Set objectives for samplers. Manage the HR function of the activations team.
  • POSM Tracker and Brand Asset management : Manage company brand assets by keeping a register.

Requirements:

  • Marketing degree or equivalent
  • Competent on Adobe suite for basic design is non-negotiable
  • 2 – 3 years’ relevant experience
  • FMCG experience advantageous
