Marketing Specialist

Salary: R 25 000,00 – R 30 000,00 CTC per month (depending on experience)

Location: Johannesburg (Hybrid – 3 x per week in-office)

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in content creation, social media management, and brand advocacy, supporting the company’s marketing initiatives across multiple channels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality, SEO-optimised content including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, and sales tools
• Publish and manage content on WordPress while maintaining brand consistency and voice
• Support social media initiatives including monitoring industry trends and competitor research
• Contribute to community management strategy, particularly on platforms like Reddit
• Maintain and update public resource profiles on platforms such as Capterra, Trust Radius, and Crunchbase
• Collaborate with marketing and other departments to ensure alignment of content with brand messaging
• Assist with planning and execution of in-person and virtual events, webinars, and conferences
• Serve as a brand guardian, ensuring all materials reinforce company positioning and values
• Support cross-departmental marketing collateral requests from partnerships, sales, and recruitment teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in content marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or tech space
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with content management systems, particularly WordPress
• Strong understanding of content marketing best practices and digital distribution channels
