Paid Media Specialist

Salt has collaborated with one of South Africa’s retail giants and who are looking for a Paid Search Specialist to join the team. As the Paid Search Specialist you will manage and optimise paid search campaigns for the digital marketing team. Furthermore, PPC campaigns need to be optimised across the Google ads network and be inclusive of AdWords, Shopping and Performance Max.

Responsibilities:

• Effective management and optimisation of paid search campaigns across the Google Ads network, including AdWords, Shopping, and Performance Max.
• Conducting thorough keyword research and analysis to identify relevant keywords and phrases for campaigns.
• Writing compelling ad copy that aligns with the brand’s voice and target audience.
• Creating well-structured ad groups and campaigns.
• Managing campaign budgets.
• Monitoring campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance and ROI.
• Collaborating with key team members, including digital media buyers, strategists, and online product teams.
• Staying up to date with industry trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and optimising paid search campaigns across Google Ads platform, including AdWords, Shopping, and Performance Max.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and making data-driven decisions to optimise campaign performance and ROI.
• Google Ads certification in Search, Display, and Shopping Advertising, demonstrating a deep understanding of Google Ads platform.
• Google Analytics certification, demonstrating expertise in using analytics tools to monitor campaign performance.
