Trade Marketing and Merchandising Manager

Salary: R 30 000,00 to R 40 000,00 CTC per month (depending on experience)

Location: Cape Town (Onsite)

A premium lifestyle brand specializing in innovative outdoor products is seeking a Trade Marketing & Merchandising Manager to elevate their retail presence. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain world-class in-store merchandising strategies to drive brand growth and sales performance
• Create and manage high-quality marketing collateral, props, and display furniture for retail partners
• Establish and monitor merchandising standards through regular retail partner store visits
• Project manage trade fair and show displays in collaboration with design and marketing teams
• Coordinate window display planning and implementation according to marketing calendar
• Maintain effective communication with retail partners and ensure exceptional trade customer service
• Work closely with web and marketing teams to maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels
• Assist in identifying prestigious retail placement opportunities
• Manage digital asset distribution and content updates for trade partners
• Develop and oversee trade partner advertising initiatives

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• 2-3 years’ experience in merchandising or similar role
• Proven experience working with trade customers
• Experience in luxury or premium brand environment advantageous
