Account Manager

Up to R500K per annum (based on experience, market and current salary)

As a pivotal member of my clients South African sales team, you will work closely with their partners. Your role involves supporting, advising, and guiding their partners through their initial months with the business. Responsibilities include onboarding first five clients onto the platform, assisting them in achieving a specific status, and executing a digital strategy for mid/large-tier partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, develop, and grow mid/large-tier partners.
• Support partners in migrating clients to the platform.
• Build strong relationships with partners.
• Collaborate with Account Management colleagues for overall success.
• Recruit, educate, and grow the partner base.
• Develop and implement a formal Partner Engagement plan for each partner.
• Drive online strategy within practices to exceed monthly targets.

What You’ll Bring:

• Solid experience in Inside Sales or Account Management.
• Inbound phone and email sales experience.
• Proficiency in the Google suite of applications and CRM database skills.
• Previous experience in a SAAS company.
• Tertiary education (highly advantageous).
• Interest in the emerging online accounting market.
• Ability to build lasting relationships over the phone.
• Attention to detail and follow-up.
• Process-driven with a sense of ownership.
• Initiative and self-motivation.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion and desire to make a difference.
