Advertising Sales

My client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Advertising Sales Professional to join their team. As a key player in their organisation, you will be responsible for negotiating advertising campaigns with both new and existing clients, exploring fresh advertising opportunities, and collaborating with the creative team to develop innovative campaigns that drive tangible results. This is a full-time position based in Cape Town, with flexibility for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with new and existing clients to negotiate and finalise advertising campaigns.
• Identify and capitalise on new advertising opportunities to expand client portfolios.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective negotiation and relationship building.
• Work closely with the creative team to conceptualise and implement innovative advertising campaigns.
• Ensure seamless communication between the sales and creative departments for optimal campaign execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored advertising solutions.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
• Use market insights to propose strategic adjustments to advertising strategies.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in advertising sales or a related field, with glossy magazine experience.
• Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for sales and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
