UK Sales Expert

One of my clients is seeking a motivated sales professional with excellent communication skills, a genuine love for cycling, and the drive to share that passion with others. Based at their Cape Town (Kloof Street) office, this role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, engage with international customers, and contribute to the growth of a bicycle insurance business.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on customer bicycle insurance quotes, guiding them through product features to convert interest into sales.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on coverage options.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer satisfaction.
• Clearly communicate insurance benefits and details to an international audience.
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and build lasting relationships.
• Stay up to date with insurance industry trends, competitor offerings, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous work experience with a proven track record (references required).
• Minimum: school certificate; ideally, a 3-year degree.
• Passion for cycling and enthusiasm to share that passion.
• Demonstrated sales experience with consistent achievement of targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging diverse audiences.
• Problem-solving ability and creativity to develop effective sales strategies.
• Knowledge of insurance products is advantageous.
• Ambitious, adaptable, and eager to grow within the company.
• Team player with a positive, collaborative approach.
• Own transport and ideally based in Cape Town or nearby.

Working Hours

• UK Summer (April – September): 10:00 – 19:00, Monday to Friday.
• UK Winter (October – March): 11:00 – 20:00, Monday to Friday.
