2nd Line Support Engineer

We’re on the hunt for a talented Second Line Engineer to join our growing MSP environment. You’ll be handling escalations from our first line, keeping systems running smoothly, and making tech nightmares disappear for good. This isn’t just another support role – it’s the one where your knowledge, troubleshooting magic, and customer obsession really matter.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prioritising and tackling incoming tickets like a pro

• Supporting, monitoring, and escalating incidents when needed

• Providing back-end support for critical monitoring tools

• Communicating with customers to provide updates and solutions

• Diagnosing hardware issues and supporting infrastructure projects

• Participating in the 24/7 support rota (approx. 1 in every 4-5 weeks)

What You Bring to the Team:

• Proven MSP experience – you’ve been in the trenches

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Server 2016-2022, Active Directory, Hyper-V

• Experience with VoIP telephony (hosted and on-premise)

• Fault finding and troubleshooting wizardry

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• A “can-do” attitude, team-player energy, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
