Business Application Solution Architect

🔍 Role Overview:

As a Business Applications Solutions Architect, you’ll play a key role in translating business needs into scalable architectural solutions. You’ll lead the design and implementation of applications that support strategic objectives and enhance operational efficiency, particularly in areas such as health and safety, environmental monitoring, and compliance tracking.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Translate complex business and technical requirements into cohesive application architectures.
• Develop technical solution designs aligned with architectural principles and strategic roadmaps.
• Collaborate with solution owners and architects across platforms to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Support BI and data-driven decision-making through tools like Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Provide expert input on HSE and compliance-related systems and application monitoring.
• Analyse and troubleshoot issues across multiple platforms to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and industry trends for future application design.

✅ Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related tertiary qualification.
• 10+ years’ experience in supporting business applications.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and data analysis tools.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and visualisation tools.
• Proven experience with HSE systems and compliance tracking.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex systems and communicate effectively across teams.
